Be a part of something great

The book of Joel prophesies that God will raise up an end-time army, and they will prophesy, dream dreams and see visions. They will destroy much of Satan's work before the Antichrist finally arises, restore hope in the power of God, and usher in the end-time harvest. In preparation, this community is designed to be a home for everyone called to be part of that army, and fulfill His end-time work.

Will Our Pets Be Part Of Our Eternal Reward In Heaven?

Some say no, and that animals do not have souls. For me that argument is a bit senseless, since a soul is simply a personality or psyche (the Greek word used in the New Testament for "soul"), and I have never met a pet yet who did not have a distinct personality. Certainly our pets do not "get saved" in the same matter we do - through a conscious decision to serve Christ - but the question is, does the Lord save them and bring them to Heaven after their deaths strictly for our sakes, so that having back our loved ones can be part of our reward in eternity?

This seems to be the suggestion in the following dream, sent by a friend this afternoon.

The dream began with me holding a kitten named Oliver - an orange kitten with a fluffy tail - and wolves were trying to take him out of my arms. In particular they were trying to bite his fluffy tail, but I kept casually dodging their attacks. Eventually the cat got terrified and ran out of my arms with the wolves chasing him, so I prayed to God to protect Oliver and kept calling out for him in desperation. Then the scene changed and I was met by a man from the army, and he asked me if I wanted to join. I happily said yes, and he put body armor on me that felt heavy but was very protective. Then the scene changed again, and I was at a massive feast with so many people that there seemed to be little room left for me to sit at the table because of how many people were there. But this feast was glorious and the atmosphere was bright, almost as if a golden light illuminated the entire place, and I remember that there were rewards for people in this place. One person had more than me and I jokingly said "I am kind of jealous. You must have done a lot more than I did," and he just jokingly said yeah. We were then taken to a place that looked like a forest of some kind, and Oliver was there waiting for me. - Dream sent to me by Blain DeCastro on 8/25/2025.

The imagery here is of being chosen for the end-time army of God, according to the Book of Joel, Chapters 2-3, and the reference to a feast alludes to the wedding feast of the Lamb in Revelation 19:6-9. But they are discussing heavenly rewards at this banquet, and the brother's beloved pet in this dream is there waiting for him. The suggestion is that we can pray our pets into Heaven, so that they will be part of heavenly reward for serving God in eternity.

"The words I speak to you, they are Spirit and they are Life."

Why did Jesus prophesy, heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons? He performed signs and wonders to confirm the word (Mark 16:20), because it has the power to do more than just save from death. It has the power to grant eternal life (John 6:63). Scripture promises that He will confirm His word through signs and wonders once again (Joel 2:28), and what we teach may determine whether He does so through us or not, so study becomes extremely important. Please join us in studying verse by verse through entire books of the Bible. Understanding each verse in its theological and historical context as led by the Spirit is key to unlocking what the word actually teaches, and revealing what the Spirit is still speaking to the churches in these last days.
