Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great

The book of Joel prophesies that God will raise up an end-time army, and they will prophesy, dream dreams and see visions. They will destroy much of Satan's work before the Antichrist finally arises, restore hope in the power of God, and usher in the end-time harvest. In preparation, this community is designed to be a home for everyone called to be part of that army, and fulfill His end-time work.

'Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.' (Romans 13:8-14)

Amen!! This basically sums up the law (10 commandments). When we are loving others, we are thinking of them and honoring them above ourselves. We choose to respect others and not do anything to cause harm or pain. In doing so, we will keep the commandments. This is the mark of true character. The law is the plumb line that measures us against God’s standards. It is like a mirror to show us where we need to change. We should be thankful for the law because it brings structure and respect to our relationships with one another and God. It shows us how to achieve harmony with others and a blessed life.

Gorgeous.

I see you making reference to James here, and yes, this passage was teaching the very same thing James did: That what the Christian should be focusing on was meditating on the law of liberty; the law that left them free to discern for themselves about what would make them the happiest in the way others treated them, and turn around and make that their responses. It's a law that doesn't say, "Don't do this" or "Don't do that," as if men cannot think. It allows a man to stop and ask, "What would I want if I were in his shoes? What would I do if I was where she is right now"... It's a creative law, in that it's one that causes you to think in terms of how you could love others the most in your own way.

And it's the law we will abide by forever in Heaven. There won't be murders or thefts or covetousness in eternity, but there will be a constant thinking about others, and seeking ways to be a blessing to everyone you meet. Our goal should be to try and manifest that to the world.

Blessings in Christ!

Yes! Amen!! THank you for sharing that!

"The words I speak to you, they are Spirit and they are Life."

Why did Jesus prophesy, heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons? He performed signs and wonders to confirm the word (Mark 16:20), because it has the power to do more than just save from death. It has the power to grant eternal life (John 6:63). Scripture promises that He will confirm His word through signs and wonders once again (Joel 2:28), and what we teach may determine whether He does so through us or not, so study becomes extremely important. Please join us in studying verse by verse through entire books of the Bible. Understanding each verse in its theological and historical context as led by the Spirit is key to unlocking what the word actually teaches, and revealing what the Spirit is still speaking to the churches in these last days.
