A Vision Of Two Armies, And The Power Of Prayer

I had a vision of two armies, one lead by a giant snake and one that appeared to have an angel leading the other. I was in this second army, and before the battle began I noticed that the snake saw me, and he tried to attack me. But I kneeled on one knee and prayed, and the snake suddenly froze and could not touch me.

Then I saw another scene where there was this massive army of demons coming towards a large crowd of people, and they were all terrified. I told them I was going to face the demons, and a man laughed and said, "You would face an army of demons alone?" I didn't reply but instead started walking towards the army of demons that were heading towards us, and then stopped, got on my knee and prayed. And then suddenly a large thunderbolt came crashing from the sky and completely destroyed their army. This is when the vision ended.

 

[Hidden In Him]

Scripture says "It is not by power nor by might, but by My Spirit says the Lord," and this principle runs throughout the word of God, appearing consistently in end-time visions as well. Attempting to face the hordes of Hell alone is certain defeat, but God gave example after example in the Old Testament of the Israelites turning to God and seeing His power defeat their enemies. He is still teaching this same lesson today, and the end-time army of God will need to rely upon Him more than ever as the forces of darkness are gaining ever greater control over the earth now. The Serpent has his armies as well - both human and angelic - and those who are called to accomplish great things for God will need to operate in His power, for He alone commands His armies, and it is only when His people call upon Him that He will command them to conquer the forces of evil on their behalf.

Yes it is going to be by God's power alone that we will face the forces of darkness. When this time comes the true church will operate in this power, but I also know that the enemy will have counterfeits just like how Moses had to deal with the counterfeits when he approached Pharaoh.
