When The Spirit Has A Sense Of Humor, Part 1
Ok, true story. I receive images during sleep that prophesy in advance about significant events that will occur the next day. I believe it's the Lord's way of training me in the prophetic, because it never fails, even on days when nothing important happens. Usually it will be something about the spiritual war - someone will be attacked, someone will be used by the enemy, someone will succumb to sin or be in danger spiritually - that sort of thing. But occasionally it will be about things that can be downright comical.
Case in point. Two days ago, just before waking up, I saw a young woman barfing what looked like pizza all over the place; just projectile spewing for all she was worth. Then her face suddenly turned into a yellow, chubby-faced cat with a grin on its face, and I woke up.
Most days I can make out what something is predicting, but when I opened my eyes yesterday, I thought, "What on earth is that?"
So I went through the day, and nothing special. Did some writing, did some moderating, did some praying, but nothing significant happened. Then that evening a friend posted me she had just watched The Garfield Movie. I'd never seen it, so I was just making conversation, but then she mentioned how funny some of the scenes were, especially the ones with Otto, the Scottish Highland bull who had a passion for is heart throb "Ethel." (see 5:47+)
She then mentioned how she had some kids over, and how they had had pizza - three different kinds - and that she was so bloated she need to get up and move around a little. Then it dawned on me. THIS is what the Spirit was saying was going to happen today. In an otherwise dull and uneventful day, my goofball friend would eat herself silly eating pineapple, pepperoni and cheese pizzas and potentially spew all over her grandkids while watching The Garfield Movie.
When I asked if I should post it, she said, "Absolutely! Do it because it was a dream with a revelation about the future." I said, "A revelation? You mean about you spewing three kinds of pizza?"
The conversation ended with my stating I'm not sure even I would believe this stuff if I wasn't actually living it, LoL.
