Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great

The book of Joel prophesies that God will raise up an end-time army, and they will prophesy, dream dreams and see visions. They will destroy much of Satan's work before the Antichrist finally arises, restore hope in the power of God, and usher in the end-time harvest. In preparation, this community is designed to be a home for everyone called to be part of that army, and fulfill His end-time work.

True Love

'Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned— To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no law. Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come. But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many! Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man’s sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification. For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people. For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous. The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.' Adam brought the curse of sin to all people because he broke God’s covenant. It was the fall of mankind and brought about mortality and generational curses. As much as we want to wrap our minds around that concept thinking how unfair that sounds, we do not get to decide or argue with God. That is just the way it is and we cannot change that. We also cannot be upset with God and blame Him, because He loved us so much that He provided a way to reconcile us to Himself through Jesus. Jesus opened the way for us to be reconciled to God by being the perfect sacrifice for our sinful condition and dying for ALL sin. The difference is that we must choose to accept His gift by faith. We do not get to choose to not be under the curse of sin apart from Jesus, because our “righteousness” is filthy rags. The law makes it clear that we are sinful human beings and that no one can fulfill the law. Only Jesus could do that. However, we can accept His Righteousness by faith. What a beautiful gift from a loving a merciful God!! He could just reject us and display His wrath on us, but instead He offers us the gift of His Grace and gives us a choice to CHOOSE Him. Hallelujah!!! To look at this from another perspective, I am realizing that if Adam did not sin, then we would not have experienced the amazing grace and love of God nor would we know what it is like to choose to love Him or anyone so much!!! Thank You, LORD, for Your AMAZING LOVE!!!! You loved us so much that You suffered and died for us!!!! You have compassion on us and love us unconditionally!!! You have shown us what TRUE love is!!! Thank You, Jesus!!!

That's a great perspective. :geek:

This last verse speaks to me especially right now. How many of us understand how great grace can be in the lives of others? I mean, do we see each other in terms of just what we are (or have been), or do we see each other in terms of the potential God sees? He knows what full and abundant grace can do in the lives of others when the Spirit of God is poured out upon them. But do we? Do we see the potential others have?

The grace of God is an incredibly powerful and wonderful thing. It paves the way to turn even the worst of sinners into the most beautiful of saints; the most hateful of human beings into the most loving. And it takes true love on God's part to see it. The question is, do we see through the eyes of true love as well.

Blessings in Christ, and thanks again for sharing. (y)

"The words I speak to you, they are Spirit and they are Life."

Why did Jesus prophesy, heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons? He performed signs and wonders to confirm the word (Mark 16:20), because it has the power to do more than just save from death. It has the power to grant eternal life (John 6:63). Scripture promises that He will confirm His word through signs and wonders once again (Joel 2:28), and what we teach may determine whether He does so through us or not, so study becomes extremely important. Please join us in studying verse by verse through entire books of the Bible. Understanding each verse in its theological and historical context as led by the Spirit is key to unlocking what the word actually teaches, and revealing what the Spirit is still speaking to the churches in these last days.
