Be a part of something great

The book of Joel prophesies that God will raise up an end-time army, and they will prophesy, dream dreams and see visions. They will destroy much of Satan's work before the Antichrist finally arises, restore hope in the power of God, and usher in the end-time harvest. In preparation, this community is designed to be a home for everyone called to be part of that army, and fulfill His end-time work.

Him Be Glorified, Part 2

'I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. ' (Romans 8:18-30)

Just as gold is purified in a fire, God uses our sufferings to purify us so that we will reflect Him and bring Him glory. He is glorified when our sufferings produce perseverance, character, faith, and hope in us. Our sufferings are the kiln that burns away all the impurities that keep us from glorifying Him. In our sufferings, we groan inwardly as we wait for His glory to be revealed in us. When we turn to the Father and do not have the words to pray, the Spirit intercedes on our behalf through groanings, but the Father understands every groan, cry, shout, and our speaking in tongues and He brings us breakthrough and peace that surpasses all understanding. Anytime we feel a lack of peace, worry, or any negative emotion and we take it to Him in prayer, He will give us exactly what we need in His presence and use it for good. In fact, praying in the Spirit is powerful, because we can be sure that we are praying His will, and He will answer accordingly. He works all things together for our good and His glory. We can trust Him because His plans are good, and His intentions are pure. He has plans to prosper and not to harm and to give a hope and a future.

As children of God, we also groan inwardly as we wait for Jesus to come back and rapture us into Heaven. That is when our bodies of sin and suffering will be done away with and He will finally be fully glorified in us through our glorified bodies. There will be no more death, dying, or pain!! Hallelujah!!! However, if we are still alive, it is because He is not done with us, yet. He still has things for us to do here. We should live every day to hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” That is why we are still here!

I have had instances where I was praying in the Spirit and the Lord brought to my conscious mind what the Spirit was praying through me. I was astonished. It was things I would have wanted to pray for, but some of it I had forgotten and others I had not even thought about praying for.

I just found it amazing that the Spirit of God cares for us more than we even care for ourselves; He thinks about what matters to us more than we think about those things ourselves. All the more reason to pray in the Spirit!

What a loving God we serve. Thanks again Krystal for a wonderful devotional, and blessings in Christ Jesus. (y)

That is awesome! Thank you for that testimony and encouragement :)

So how often do you pray in the Spirit, if I may ask? :)
Pretty much daily these days. I have gone a good while without doing so, but recently it is a daily part of my worship. What about you?

I do it subconsciously a lot, so I'm not really aware, but as far as being conscious of praying in tongues I do it during times of prayer (like while bathing), and especially during times of fasting. Then I'm praying incessantly, and it's usually in tongues.

You having it as a daily habit is wonderful. Very godly thing to do. (y)

"The words I speak to you, they are Spirit and they are Life."

Why did Jesus prophesy, heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons? He performed signs and wonders to confirm the word (Mark 16:20), because it has the power to do more than just save from death. It has the power to grant eternal life (John 6:63). Scripture promises that He will confirm His word through signs and wonders once again (Joel 2:28), and what we teach may determine whether He does so through us or not, so study becomes extremely important. Please join us in studying verse by verse through entire books of the Bible. Understanding each verse in its theological and historical context as led by the Spirit is key to unlocking what the word actually teaches, and revealing what the Spirit is still speaking to the churches in these last days.
