Divine Plans & Heavenly Callings, Part 1
This forum was not built on man's initiative or man's planning, and those called to it will not be invited by mere men but the Holy Spirit Himself. The Lord Jesus Christ very specifically gave us the blueprints for this forum through a series of dreams in late 2023, before I was even thinking about building one. I had been approached by the owner of another Christian forum who asked if I wanted to purchase it from him. We set a price and I agreed. Only before sending him the money I requested he make me a moderator so I could acclimate, become more acquainted with staff, and see how things were run. But one thing struck me as odd. I received a dream before he even approached me that prophesied the whole thing, but that the deal would eventually fall through, although the Lord would give me plans for building another one instead; one built from the ground up according to a specific design, as represented by a small builder's square in my mouth as I walked away in the dream.
For Part 1, I will include that dream and interpretation below, with additional threads coming in the future that will demonstrate the same thing: The forum you are currently viewing was not built by human initiative or human will, but by the specific instruction of the Holy Spirit. We were also told it needed to be constructed in a certain way. The Lord had His temples built after a very specific pattern in Old Testament times as well, and while the design here was not nearly so detailed or elaborate, the principle remains the same: The Lord does not do things haphazardly. He has a specific will and specific plans, and when it comes to the projects He Himself wants to get done, He will reveal them to His servants.
The Builder's Square Dream
I dreamt I was driving down one of the main thoroughfares in my city when I came to an intersection at a light. Once there, the scene changed, and there were no longer cars and I was now on foot. There was a huge industrial-sized dumpster like 15 feet high, and about three or four people milling around, almost like they were planting seed.
Two men were standing close to me and talking to one another. One was holding what looked like a plastic box of nails and making a crossing motion over it with his hand, giving the other one instructions on how he wanted things divided up. I recognized him in the dream as the owner of the site, the other the chief moderator at the time. But as I was standing there watching the two of them, the moderator suddenly looked over at me rather sharply like, "What are you doing here? This is not your business," which likely symbolized he had just been made aware I was close to purchasing the site even though I had never been a member of staff.
When I picked up that I wasn't welcome standing there any more, I politely left, and as I was leaving I saw the five lane highway open up before me again, heading towards my house. Strangely enough I had a builder's square in my mouth. It actually looked more like this square here. Somewhat smaller, and open-ended rather than triangular.
This dream played out as described. The day before I was to send the owner the money, I posted a friend somewhat confused, and said, "But the dream says I won't be buying the site. It says I will move on without doing so." Sure enough, the next day when I contacted the owner, he said he had changed his mind and decided not to sell after all. He would keep it but put someone else in charge. I wished him the best, and we dropped the plan. But I posted my friend again and told him I bet I knew who would soon be running the site, because I knew who the moderator was that was standing there with him in my dream. Sure enough, about a week later we received word that this same moderator had now been made chief Administrator.
It was not long after this that the Lord began giving us dreams about the building of this site, and specifically how He would want it built. I will provide links to successive threads as they become available. He also gave us details about how members will be spiritually guided to us, and that those who join will be led here by the Spirit of God Himself.
