Deliverance, & The Death Of A Satanist High Priest
Discovered this testimony fairly recently, and was astonished that I could go this long without knowing, but apparently the death of Anton LaVey was as the result of an extended encounter with a group of Christians who refused to give up on delivering a survivor out of his hands. Instead of murdering an innocent woman in tribute to Satan, LaVey met his own death and went on to his "reward" for serving the Devil.
Actual death records confirm this account, because whereas the Church of Satan tried to claim LaVey died days before Halloween 1997, his actual death certificate says that he died on Halloween night (see link after video).
One of my all time favorite testimonies, and a testament to the fact that those sworn to doing harm to others and who suppose their god is more powerful than the Most High will eventually meet their end, and if necessary learn one terrible and final lesson in the process.

Family members said Mr. LaVey died Oct. 29, but for some reason his death certificate lists him as having died Oct. 31 -- Halloween. Deepening the mystery, the family said they kept his death secret for a week in order not to distract his followers over their most important holiday season.
