Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great

The book of Joel prophesies that God will raise up an end-time army, and they will prophesy, dream dreams and see visions. They will destroy much of Satan's work before the Antichrist finally arises, restore hope in the power of God, and usher in the end-time harvest. In preparation, this community is designed to be a home for everyone called to be part of that army, and fulfill His end-time work.

Bear With Them

'We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.” For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope. May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews on behalf of God’s truth, so that the promises made to the patriarchs might be confirmed and, moreover, that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written: “Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles; I will sing the praises of your name.” Again, it says, “Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.” And again, “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles; let all the peoples extol him.” And again, Isaiah says, “The Root of Jesse will spring up, one who will arise to rule over the nations; in him the Gentiles will hope.” May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. ' (Romans 15:1-13)

He is a God of Mercy! We are instructed to have the same mercy for others when they fail as He has on us. We are to bear with others and seek to forgive them and help to restore them. That is what Jesus does for us. We are to treat others the way that the Lord treats us. Jesus never sets out to hurt those who fail, especially those who repent and ask for His forgiveness. He already knows that we are prone to fail and that we need His help. Just like how Jesus reaches down into the pit to pull us out, we are help others in the same way. Jesus never kicks us when we are down. He never throws a snake or lion into the pit with us to devour us. He never pours gasoline into the pit and then toss a lit match into the pit with us to burn us alive. He never throws dirt over the pit to bury us. Besides, if we were to do any of those things to someone else, He would ensure that someone would do the same to us one day (for the measure we use to judge others, will be measured to us). Instead, He lovingly reaches down for us to grab onto His hand. Whenever we see someone struggle and can help them, we should help them. There is nothing like the love of Jesus!! For the times when we cannot do anything to help someone who is struggling or it just is not our place, we are to bear with them by being patient with them, gentle with them, and forgiving them.

Paul says to “Accept one another, then, as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. The reasoning behind what he said was that there was disunity between Jews and Gentiles. The same can be said today for those of differing denominations where there is disputing over matters that we are instructed in the previous chapter not to dispute over. This is reiterating the importance of accepting one another in differing opinions that are not against the indisputable matters of the Word of God (the 10 commandments and words of Jesus). We are not to argue and judge one another, but instead we are to love and accept one another in unity.

Absolutely, and it applies in many ways.

We all have weaknesses, we all have differences in our characters and personalities, and if we are quick to judge or disregard what is going on in the hearts and minds of others, we will not judge righteous judgment. We will assume things based on our own lives and characters, and wrongly judge based on a lack of knowledge of what their situation is actually like.

There is a verse in Galatians that speaks to this, and it says in effect that each man must bear his own burden. By that, it means a friend in Christ is not responsible for your set of circumstances, and he will not be judged by them. He is responsible for his set of circumstances, and that is what he will be held accountable for. A man raised in a loving home with great parents and everything he needed will find it a lot easier to love others than someone who was beaten and abused and neglected and even tortured and abandoned growing up. Both are called to love, but they are bearing two different burdens, and the Lord will take their circumstances into account with how well they did, like with the widow who only gave a mite. The rich men gave a lot of money into the treasury, and she only gave a mite. But the difference was she gave everything she had, and the Lord sees those things. Those who are close to Him will see those kinds of things too.

Blessings, and thanks for giving me something to respond to tonight. I'm at work, and a little bored atm. :)

Thank you! Good stuff! I enjoy your responses!

"The words I speak to you, they are Spirit and they are Life."

Why did Jesus prophesy, heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons? He performed signs and wonders to confirm the word (Mark 16:20), because it has the power to do more than just save from death. It has the power to grant eternal life (John 6:63). Scripture promises that He will confirm His word through signs and wonders once again (Joel 2:28), and what we teach may determine whether He does so through us or not, so study becomes extremely important. Please join us in studying verse by verse through entire books of the Bible. Understanding each verse in its theological and historical context as led by the Spirit is key to unlocking what the word actually teaches, and revealing what the Spirit is still speaking to the churches in these last days.
